Senior Staff

Our organisation is led by the Chief Executive Officer, with the support of senior managers who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of all our services.

Andrew Everett - Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Everett is the Chief Executive Officer at Westhaven. Prior to being appointed as CEO,
Andrew was Chairman of the Board at Westhaven.

In a career spanning business leadership, consulting and board appointments, Andrew has
enjoyed exposure to a wide range of agendas including start-up, growth, transformation and
turnaround scenarios across several industry sectors with such organisations including NSW
Government, Hewlett Packard and Vodafone.

He has had the opportunity to work with some cool people and travel, live and work in some
amazing places, including living in Moscow, Cayman Island, Botswana, Munich, Berlin,
Prague, Dublin, London, Hong Kong and now in Orange NSW.

Andrew possess a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University and a
Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Sydney. He is also a Graduate of the
Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In addition to Andrew's professional work he is committed to supporting regional
development through his involvement in Regional Development Australia (RDA) and the 
not-for-profit, Western Research Institute (WRI), where he is on the board of these organisations


  Lynda Haksteeg - Acting General Manager of Corporate Services
Lynda has worked with Westhaven for 15 years and is highly experienced in both HR and IT. She has 
worked and studied both Leadership and Management with her management roles stemming for over 
25 years. Lynda's qualifications incorporate Leadership and Management, Training and Assessment, 
Community Services and Disability. Lynda likes the people, the culture and opportunities that 
The Westhaven Association provides for all staff and clients.   

   Cath Deveigne - General Manager of Children's Services

  Pam Cook - Service Manager Community Disability 
Pam has spent the majority of her working life at Westhaven, in fact, Pam has been with Westhaven for 26 years,
 a tremendous achievement showing Pam's dedication and commitment. Pam started her working career at
Westhaven in April 1992 and has expereinced working as a Residential Support Worker, Development Officer,
Case Manager, Team Leader and now works as Service Manager. This role involves overseeing the three Centres
where participants can develop their skills or become part of the social, recreational and community life of Dubbo.
Further, Pam looks after our In Home Support Program, supporting people with day to day tasks, to build skills or
maintain their independence at home. Pam also manages our Administration team and Medical Support staff. Pam
has developed a lot of hands on experience in her 26 years at Westhaven, she also has a Cert III and Cert IV in
Community Services.
  Tim Sykes - Manager HR and IT 
Tim has extensive knowledge and experience in the community services industry. He has worked as both a Support Worker
and Team Leader for Westhaven, a Manager of Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol based services for another NGO
(non-Government organisation) and now holds the reins of the Service Managers role here at Westhaven. Some of his 
experience over the past 10 years includes: running mental health based programs and juvenile offender programs,
coordinating adolescent drug and alcohol facilities and intensive behaviour support for people with disability. We are
fortunate here at Westhavento have a senior staff member with such expereince, Tim has been working with us for
the past 7 years and says, " I like the opportunities and support Westhaven provides to its staff and the reason we are
all here, the people we support!"

    Anthony Meinecke - Manager of NDIS Business

   Kris Gersbach - Acting Manager of Accommodation Disability
Kris has been working at Westhaven for 5 years and over the past 18 months has worked with some of the most 
disadvantaged and vulnerable groups within the community including youth, homeless, drug and alcohol and
unemployed adults. Kris has a Diploma of Management and likes the journey of helping people reach their potential.
She says, "The best part of working for Westhaven is the people - their positivity and willingness to give almost
anything a go."

   Julie Martin - Service Manager Intensive Support 
Julie commenced working with Westhaven at the beginning of 2018 and is liking the friendly and committed staff 
and working with an organisation which has a good reputation for commitment to its clients. Julie's qualifications
include Diploma of Community Services, Cert IV in Youth Justice, she is currently studying a Cert IV in Leadership
and Management and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. For the past 6 years Julie has worked in the
community services industry.
   Amy Starr - Acting Service Manager NPSS/Respite
Amy has studied both Community Services and Disability; she has worked at Westhaven for 5 years. She says,
"Working with children and young people at Westhaven provides many challenges. I enjoy being a part of the
Westhaven team and watching each and every child and young person develop, grow and achieve their goals.
   Natalie Troy - Acting Manager of Australian Disability Enterprise - Dubbo and Nyngan  
   Katrina Holmes - Acting Service Manager ROOHC
Katrina has been with Westhaven for 10 years, she is passionate about working with children and young people, she says, "Working for Westhaven is about seeing the joy and growth of each and every child, young person and client." Katrina has studied extensively in the areas of Community Services, Disability, Computer Accounting and Business Management.

  Lauren Goodstat - Administration Manager
Lauren is Westhaven's new Administration Manager with 12 years experience in administration roles including reception,
general administration, executive assistant and management. She has a Diploma in Leadership and Management and is
looking forward to assisting the organisation to move forward as it grows. Lauren says, "I want to help people live the
life they choose and I believe everyone should have this opportunity."
