Senior Staff

Our organisation is led by the Chief Executive Officer, with the support of senior managers who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of all our services.

  Christian Grieves - Chief Executive Officer 
Christian is our Chief Executive Officer who has extensive experience in strategic operational leadership
and partnerships, budgeting and financial management, media and public presentations to influence,
grow services and capital to meet community needs and corporate governance for compliance and
organisational longevity. Christian has a high level understanding of rural and remote human services in
Australia including, out of home care for children, mental health services, general medical and allied
health service delivery management, primary health care systems funding, General Practice post-graduate 
Doctor training program, and intellectual disability supported employment, accommodation and other types
of support services.

 

   Anthony Meneicke - NDIS Business Manager


 
   Kris Gersbach -  Australian Disability Enterprise Manager
Kris  has been working at Westhaven for 5 years and over the past 18 months has worked with some of the most
disadvantaged and vulnerable groups within the community including youth, homeless, drug and alcohol and
unemployed adults. Kris has a Diploma of Management and likes the journey of helping people reach their potential.
She says," The best part of working for Westhaven is the people - their positivity and willingness to give almost
anything a go."

 

  Pam Cook - Community Disability Service Manager
Pam has spent the majority of her working life at Westhaven, in fact, Pam has been with Westhaven for 26 years,
 a tremendous achievement showing Pam's dedication and commitment. Pam started her working career at
Westhaven in April 1992 and has expereinced working as a Residential Support Worker, Development Officer,
Case Manager, Team Leader and now works as Service Manager. This role involves overseeing the three Centres
where participants can develop their skills or become part of the social, recreational and community life of Dubbo.
Further, Pam looks after our In Home Support Program, supporting people with day to day tasks, to build skills or
maintain their independence at home. Pam also manages our Administration team and Medical Support staff. Pam
has developed a lot of hands on experience in her 26 years at Westhaven, she also has a Cert III and Cert IV in
Community Services.
 
 
  Tim Sykes - Accommodation Disability Service Manager
Tim has extensive knowledge and experience in the community services industry. He has worked as both a Support Worker
and Team Leader for Westhaven, a Manager of Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol based services for another NGO
(non-Government organisation) and now holds the reins of the Service Managers role here at Westhaven. Some of his 
experience over the past 10 years includes: running mental health based programs and juvenile offender programs,
coordinating adolescent drug and alcohol facilities and intensive behaviour support for people with disability. We are
fortunate here at Westhavento have a senior staff member with such expereince, Tim has been working with us for
the past 7 years and says, " I like the opportunities and support Westhaven provides to its staff and the reason we are
all here, the people we support!"

 
    Lynda Haksteeg - Human Resources and IT Manager
Lynda has worked with Westhaven for 15 years and is highly experienced in both HR and IT. She has worked and studied both
Leadership and Management with her management roles stemming for over 25 years. Lynda's qualifications incorporate
Leadershipand Management, Training and Assessment, Community Services and Disability. Lynda likes the people, the
culture and opportunities that The Westhaven Association provides for all staff and clients.

 
   Cath Deveigne - Children Services Manager

 
   Jo Hutchinson - Manager of Finance
Jo has worked with Westhaven for the past 3 years. She has worked as the senior accountant in not-for-profit organisations
including the health industry, community and disability organisations for over 18 years. Jo is a qualified accountant with a
Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Economics and Accountancy, and is a Certified Practicing Accountant. Jo likes
having contact with the service users and in particular, the supported employees that she sees daily at the workshop.
What Jo enjoys about Westhavenis that her work has a purpose that benefits others, and provides professional interest
and challenges for her.

 
   Julie Martin - Intensive Support Service Manager
Julie commenced working with Westhaven at the beginning of 2018 and is liking the friendly and committed staff 
and working with an organisation which has a good reputation for commitment to its clients. Julie's qualifications
include Diploma of Community Services, Cert IV in Youth Justice, she is currently studying a Cert IV in Leadership
and Management and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. For the past 6 years Julie has worked in the
community services industry.
